Description: Al Chang is a consultant specializing in the development of large scale internet services. His clients include large companies including Target Stores (Target.com), and consumer facing internet startups.
ssssssFor 4 years, He was Director of Engineering for Walmart.com, the internet and e-commerce division of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.
Al led the development of Walmart's e-commerce platform and online store services such as DVD rentals and Digital Music Downloads.
Prior to joining Walmart.com, Al was VP of Engineering for venture capital funded startups, Violet.com and Fidget.com, where he designed the core technology platforms. Over the last 15 years, he has held technical and management positions at Silicon Graphics (SGI), The 3DO Company, Boeing, and Wolfram Research.
Al holds a BS in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also attended the Peter Stark graduate film producing program at the University of Southern California.
