Description:   Barry Young is Senior Vice President  of DisplaySearch. Barry was CEO and President of OWL Displays where he co-developed innovative driver technology. He was awarded a key patent on an innovative architecture for driving low temperature polysilicon TFT LCDs. Prior to OWL, he was Vice President and General Manager for Tandem's Integrity System's Division where he grew the division from a start-up to over $300 million in revenues in just four years. He has also served as: Managing Partner at one of the leading management consultant firms in the world, Booz Allen & Hamilton; Executive Vice President with Wells Fargo Bank; and Senior Vice President at Citibank. In banking, he managed both company systems and customer operations divisions. He also served as President of Lexar, an early developer of an all-digital PBX. He has more than 30 years of senior management and marketing experience in high technology with extensive interaction in Japan. He has had articles published in multiple technical display journals, and has spoken worldwide on the display industry. Barry is one of the industry's leading authorities on OLEDs, has authored all of DisplaySearch's OLED reports and has visited all OLED manufacturers worldwide.
