It is the weekly get-together of the Yi-Tan Tech Community.

About the calls
Our goal is to have crisp, useful calls that occur frequently on a wide range of topics, from a variety of interesting perspectives. We want these audio nuggets to be available to you whenever you want them, wherever you are, so they will be downloadable as MP3s you can play while commuting or treading your StairMaster.

In each call, we spend 20 to 30 minutes on a topic that matters to strategic planners, IT executives, investors and other professionals. For more about the Yi Tan call and for more about this week's call ... please visit the web site.

Jerry Michalski is the president of Sociate, founder of the Yi-Tan Collective and co-host with Pip of the Yi-Tan Weekly Tech Community calls (Mondays at 1:30pm Eastern time).

Jerry spent over ten years as a tech industry analyst, the last five writing Esther Dyson's monthly newsletter, Release 1.0. Since 1998, he has been an independent consultant working with large corporations, stealthy startups, edgy conferences and nimble non-profits.

Like Pip, Jerry's a student of change. He specializes in foreseeing the interactions between technology, business and society. A firm believer that people are the "killer app," Jerry often finds himself a lone champion for treating people well. You can find more about him at Sociate (http://www.sociate.com/) and Yi-Tan (http://www.yi-tan.com/).
