Jörgen Van der Sloot

I’ve been working with Coburn Ventures for more than a decade. As I’ve been studying change for many years now, my collaboration with the Coburn Ventures Community has been a never ending learning journey. I like the student mindedness that we jointly create in gatherings across the world and I keep learning something new every time.

I help many different organizations that want to develop a better understanding about change and how to make it last. My involvement with the Community for Change is an example of the work I am really passionate about, because for me change starts with people. Being part of a community that shares practices and experiences around this has been very valuable.

Even though I am based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, I feel part of the Coburn Family very intensely. Over the many years that we have been working together we’ve found ways to create the intimacy that is needed for effective collaboration even in the digital space. And although I have to admit that the physical gatherings are most effective in establishing relationships there are more ways to feel part of something bigger. Our time together has only just begun!

Mission Statement: to design spaces of collaboration that allow people to listen attentively, speak with intention and be non-judgmental. To inspire them to ignite the change they wish to see.
